On July 4, 2025, representatives of Adam University participated in the professional skills competition for emergency medical services teams, organized by the Bishkek City Emergency Medicine Center in honor of Medical Worker's Day.
Representing the university on the jury were Professor Ishenbai Moldotashev and the Dean of the Higher School of Medicine, Cholpon Mambetova. They evaluated both the creative performances of the teams and their practical actions in scenarios closely simulating real-life calls.
The competition included two stages:
• Creative - self-presentations, videos, skits, and miniatures reflecting the significance of the emergency service and team interaction;
• Practical - execution of tasks for emergency situations (road traffic accidents, myocardial infarction, anaphylactic shock, childbirth, etc.), where each team demonstrated professional skills in conditions maximally close to reality.
Nine teams participated in the event. The work of the participants was assessed according to pre-approved criteria: completeness and quality of aid provided, team cohesion, emotional impact, thematic disclosure, and involvement of all crew members.
Professor Ishenbai Moldotashev noted the high level of preparation of the participants and expressed confidence in the promising future of the emergency assistance system in Kyrgyzstan. Dean Cholpon Mambetova emphasized the significance of such events for students undergoing internships at the Emergency Medicine Center and thanked the organizers for the opportunity to be part of such an important event. Adam University expresses gratitude to the Emergency Medicine Center for the cooperation and congratulates all medical workers on their professional holiday!
