February 7, 2018, the program “Management and tourism” held an essay contest “Descendants of
nomads” among University students.
The purpose of the essay contest is the formaton of civil identty through understanding the history and
natonal cultural values of nomadic people.
Of the 32 student works, the jury identied 10 essays that meet the criteria of the competton.
With a welcoming speech to the guests and partcipants of the competton addressed Ph. D., head of
the program “Management and tourism”, Akylbekova N. I., senior lecturer, Seitova Ch. A., senior
lecturer, Neevia E. A. and PhD, Ryskulova M. K. In their speeches, they talked about our University, the
actvites of the program “Management and tourism” and the possibilites of internships. Also, a video
about our University was presented to the atenton of the partcipants.
The most original student works won prizes:
1st place – Iskenderova Aiturgan, KNU named afer . alasagun
2nd place – Zhoomartov Abay, MUK
3rd place – Akelbaeva Alina, ADAM University.
The contest addressed the topics “Economic aspects of the game of nomads”, “culture of nature in the
life of nomads”, “modern nomadic peoples”, “games as a refecton of the way of life of nomads”,
“Traditons and way of life of nomads: features of the Renaissance”, “rights of the child in the life of
nomads”.
The winners were awarded with diplomas, heads of student works: Kubatbekova Sh. K., Abdykadyrova
M. ., Nagaeva G. K., Karabalaeva S. . received leters of appreciaton.
The moderator of the event was actng PhD of “Management and tourism” program, Ryskulova M. K.
