N.I. Lobachevsky Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics

invites students to take part

in the III International Competition for Best Student Work

“Lobachevsky and XXI Century”

The objectives of the competition are: to attract students to scientific research and search activities; to acquaint them with the biography and scientific contribution of the great geometer Nikolai Ivanovich Lobachevsky and his disciples.

Students of mathematical and pedagogical majors from Russian universities, from universities near and far abroad are invited to participate in the Competition. The winners will be awarded diplomas of I, II, and III degrees and invited to participate at the scientific-practical student conference dedicated to the birthday of N.I. Lobachevsky, December 1st, 2016 (travel and living expenses are not compensated). Papers of participants passed reviewing will be published gratis in

the collection of Conference Proceedings (the payment for shipment is made cash on delivery).

The terms of the competition is from October 1st to November 15th of 2016. The works and applications are accepted until November 15th of 2016 in electronic form to the E-mail address: lilianashakirova1209@gmail.com.
