In May 10, 2016 Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics, the project UNIWORK «Strengthening Career Centres in Central Asian universities in order to create quality jobs” held annual reunion. The tradition to celebrate the “Day of the graduate BAFE” was born 3 years ago, during the first meeting BAFE graduates. At the same time, it was decided to establish BAFE Alumni Association, which today has 622 members.

The meeting was attended BAFE founder, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof., Atakhanov SH.E., BAFE Rector, National expert on reforming the higher education system of the Kyrgyz Republic, Assoc. Sirmbard SR, Vice-Rector, heads of producing programs, faculty, alumni and students. The venue was not chosen by chance, a conference hall “Shaiyr” hotel “Hayatt Regncy Bishkek” for many graduates is a symbol of “student days” because for several years, the festival “Dedication to students” and the presentation of diplomas to the graduates held here.

In a solemn ceremony took place a procedure for granting the title “Honorary Professor of the Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics ” founder of PF “The Foundation of Progressive Initiative” Mr. Salymbekov A.M BAFE decision of the Academic Council of the title was awarded to Mr. Salymbekov A.M for special contribution to the career development of young people and to promote the development of science of Kyrgyz Republic.

During the event, alumni and students BAFE had the opportunity to learn about Master’s and PhD programs offered by the Academy, new tools, with which you can keep in touch with their alma mater and other graduates, e-learning courses for the development of professional skills, and simply express thanks to the Academy address and communicate with each other in an informal setting.

The event took place immediately after the celebration of Victory Day and in honor of this great feast for the audience sounded the song “Ogonek” performed by students BAFE, Bolotbekova Gulzar.

Congratulate the participants and guests of the event came the students of the College of Economics and Finance. They came up with the dance “Kyrgyz biy.”

Overall, the event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere. During the cocktail reception and informal communication, the graduates expressed a wish to continue the tradition of meetings and carry out more joint actions.
