From 9 to 11 March, 2016, in Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics, as part of a new three-year project “Sustainable Tourism Development” between BAFE, University College of Southeast Norway,
and the universities of Georgia held a working meeting with partners from University College of Southeast Norway.
The aims of this project are development of new joint educational programs and sustainable tourism development courses; planning, co-ordination and establishment of a joint bank of recourses online; to organize training of students passing their externship and summer on the subject “Sustainable Tourism Development” courses in universities of the countries listed above.
In addition, this project has the following main objectives – to increase student mobility and exchange of teaching staff between Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Norway in order to enhance knowledge, competence and skills on sustainable tourism. And bring a greater contribution to the practice and study, based on a joint cooperation between the academic institutions and the private sector, with the involvement of local businesses and entrepreneurs working in the field of tourism.
According to the results of the working group have been interviewed and the selection of students BAFE successfully passed the competitive selection for education at University College of Southeast Norway (Norway), which are: Smanov Mederbek -1 semester, Zhuvagina Polina and Asranbek kyzy Nasik- summer school, Mironchenko Anastasia – pre-diploma practice.
