Our partner – Turar Ryskulov New Economic University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) invites you to take participation at The International Week “Intercultural Co-creation: Bridges between Countries”, which will be held from April 11 to 15 April 2016, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event engages representatives of social organizations, businesses, embassies, academics and students in discussion and debate about current regional processes, encourages learning about international education and practicing cross-cultural skills.

The International Week is aimed to build international platform for multicultural dialogue leading to the advance in academic collaborations, development of businesses, cooperation with international organizations, mass media corporations and public associations.

The International Week includes three basic academic areas:

1. Exploring Central Asia.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, five Central Asian states being located between geostrategic players have chosen different paths of state building and development. Today, when the regionalization is becoming more prevalent in international relations, is there a common vision among Central Asian states? How the regionalization of Central Asia is shaped? How the education system is being reformed?

2. Cultural Diversity and International Collaboration.

Central Asia is a region concentrating a huge cultural variety, presented by 5 major root ethnicities and over 150 minorities. Therefore, the research on multiethnic structure and international collaboration is essential, taking into account the current trends in the world. The questions covered during the section are related to the analysis of ethnic structure of countries in Central Asia. How the cultures coexist in Central Asia? What are the effective language policies in the region? What transformations of the societies take place in the area under research? How and why our society benefits out of international collaboration.

3. Doing Business in Central Asia.

Session includes the topic on analysis of regional business environments, marketing strategies, investment opportunities. The top questions of the conference relate to the following: the appeal of Central Asian region for foreign business development; factors that prevent attracting business to the area; business projects that are the most conceivable and accomplishable under contemporary economic, political and social conditions in the region; the implementation of green technologies for the local economy.
