The monitoring of the QAMEL project “Introduction of Quality Management in e-learning at the Central Asian universities” was held in BAFE on January 11, 2016. During the monitoring the institutional coordinators of partner universities – Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics, Issyk-Kul State University, Kyrgyz State Law Academy have provided their progress reports within two years of the project realization to the National Coordinator of Erasmus + Office Gulnara Chokusheva.

BAFE Rector, Country Project Coordinator, Assoc. Svetlana Sirmbard in her report noted progress made on the work packages, provided information on equipment purchased for the creation of e-learning courses by the universities – participants from the QAMEL project budget and also spoke about the measures taken to ensure the sustainability of the project results and to disseminate information at the national and regional levels.

Following the meeting, National Coordinator Gulnara Chokusheva noted the success in achieving the project objectives, good communication between all consortium members as an important component for the effective implementation of the tasks, coordinated teamwork of the institutional coordinators and close cooperation with the Kyrgyz Association of Distance Education.

Such projects are of great importance for the development of the entire education system in the Kyrgyz Republic, since the activities carried out under this project included in the draft plan for the implementation of the education strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
