BAFE has held a Business Plan competition among its students with support from Bishkek Business Club on December 28, 2015. The competition is organized within the UNIWORK project “Strengthening Career Centres in Central Asia Higher Education Institutions to empower graduates in obtaining and creating quality employment”.

Jury members were Assoc. Ainura Mambetova, head of “Management and Tourism” program and invited experts from the business environment – Diana Orozbaeva, a member of Bishkek Business Club, owner of “Lovely Mama” agency; Kirill Vahrushev, director of “Global Telecom Asia” LLC; Ulan Muhammed, marketing specialist of “Strategy” company; Iskender Aliev, a financial analyst.

In total, students created 10 business plans, which they submitted for the jury. Jury opinions diverged and they decided to recommend two projects for the final competition: Anzhelika Lymareva, student group E-2-13 and Angelina Bondareva, student group МТ-3-15 with their Growing salads based on hydroponics business plan and Aygerim Tabaldiyeva, student group М-7-12, with her Beauty salon with rooms for the children’s development of economy class business plan. The competitors, reached the final, have received recommendations to improve their projects from the experts. A winner, who is waiting for a ticket to the Regional Youth Forum in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, will be announced at the end of the final assessment of the jury on Jan. 15, 2016.
