On December 12, 2015, the Bishkek academy of Finance and Economics together with “BIOM” environmental movement held a round table on the preparation for independent accreditation among universities of Kyrgyzstan.

Raimundas Kolesnikas, expert from Lithuania, told about the requirements for an independent accreditation agencies all round the world, the features of the program and institutional accreditation, and the process of preparation for accreditation.

National expert on the reform of the education system of the Kyrgyz Republic, BAFE Rector, Assoc. Svetlana Rustamovna Sirmbard presented the requirements and criteria of the European quality assurance agencies.

At the round table, the Kyrgyz Republic universities representatives discussed the problems currently existing in the system of higher education and received recommendations from expert Raimundas Kolesnikas and a national expert on the reform of the education system Svetlana Rustamovna Sirmbard.
