The contest on the topic “The Economist – it sounds good!” has been held by the program “Economics” to enhance the creative and cognitive activity of students and support innovative ideas on December 1, 2015 in BAFE.

Contestants had to realize themselves in the following areas:

1. The emblem – the “Economics” program

2. The slogan – the “Economics” program

3. Presentation on the topic.

The structure of the presentation had to include a justification of the topic (relevance, purpose, objectives); research methods (observation, questioning, creative work, analysis of the literature); presentation; interesting facts (Kyrgyz Republic and international experience); conclusions and proposals.

Teams of the first year students: “Financiers”, “Young Economists”, “Children of the Market”, “Economic Economists” participated in the competition.

The jury included Vice-rector on students support, PhD, Assoc., Egemberdiev, Associate Professor I.V. Chepik, Student Government Abdybek uulu D., Head of the “Economics” program M.A. Abykeeva.

As a result of the five point evaluation system certificates were given to:

1. For the best presentation – the team “Financiers”

2. For the best emblem – the team “Children of the Market”

3. For the best slogan – the team “Economic Economists”

All participants were awarded with books, sweet prizes, and plunged into the sea of positive emotions and desires!
