On 2nd November, 2015, BAFE Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Science, Ph.D. Assoc. Dzhumabaeva Marina Zaripbekovna took part in the fair “Study in Japan”, organized by the Kyrgyz-Japan Center for Human Development together with the Embassy of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic. The event, held in the main building of KNU named after. J. Balasagyn, was also attended by representatives of the capital’s universities of Kyrgyzstan such as the International University of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Ahunbaev, KNU named after J. Balasagyn, where they presented their universities, programs for undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates and doctoral students, introduced the forms of education in their universities.

The Japanese party participants in the fair were representatives of the International University of Japan (IUJ), University of Tsukuba (Tsukuba), Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), the Osaka Normal University (OKU), Japan Society for the Advancement of Science (JSPS) and the Embassy of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Japanese universities presented their Fellowship Programs for the kyrgyz undergraduates, graduates and doctoral candidates on the combined master’s and doctoral programs in the humanities and social sciences.

They talked about possibilities of obtaining scholarships of the Government of Japan and other funds on a special program for the Central Asian countries in English language. For example, the Japan Society for the Advancement of Science, a leading Japanese company, is sponsoring scientific researches in all areas, and promoting joint international research, which also supports the best young researchers.
