The Fifth Meeting of Country Coordinators universities – the TuCAHEA project partners “Towards a Central Asian Higher Education Area” was held in the Jalalabad region on September 8 – 9, 2015, hosted by the Jalalabad State University.

Rector of Jalalabad State University A. Abdrashev and country coordinator of the TuCAHEA project R. Bekboeva delivered a welcome speech. European expert Katherine Isaacs also attended the meeting. The head of the program “Economy”, candidate of economic science, M. Abykeeva attended the meeting from Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics. The meeting was also attended by academician A. Aidaraliev, who made a presentation on the results of the meeting of Ministers of Education of Central Asian countries.

After the speeches, the coordinators presented reports on the work done on the project and discussed the “Guidelines and benchmarks” Matrix for the TuCAHEA subject areas on eight directions. One of the subjects of discussion were the sustainability and dissemination of project results.
