An international scientific-practical conference “Innovation potential of eLearning: the prospects for the development of higher education” was held at the conference hall of the hotel “Altyn-Kul”, Kara-Oy v., Issyk-Kul region on September 10 -11, 2015. The conference was held in the framework of the TEMPUS project “Introduction of quality management in eLearning at universities in Central Asia (QAMEL)” with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Kyrgyz Association of Distance Education and the Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics.

The conference was attended by experts related to eLearning, from all regions of the republic and foreign universities participating in the TEMPUS project “Development and implementation of quality management system eLearning in Central Asian universities – QAMEL” (Germany, Lithuania, France, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan). This project is important for the education system of the Kyrgyz Republic, as it will introduce a holistic approach to eLearning that focuses on quality assurance and control.
