On 10th was held at BAFE. Students and Teachers (Lecturers) of BAFE, KEU and Academy of Tourism.  The main aim of round table to create a discussion platform for the discussion of actual problems  and perspectives of using information technologies in tourism.  of March, 2015 a round table on the topic: “Information technologies in tourism”

The main attention was paid to the following questions:

• Information technologies in the activity of tourism companies
• Modern technologies in creation of websites
• GIS technologies in tourism and use of applied programs in the development of mountain  hiking trails
• Using of GIS technologies and media- technologies in tourism.

Member of Board of Kyrgyz Association of Tour operators (KATO), General Manager of tour company “Travel Experts”, Sergei Gluhoverov underlined the practical meaning of discussed points for the tourism development in Kyrgyzstan. As the best student report was recognized “GIS technologies in Tourism” prepared by Nursultan Nasyrkanov.

In conclusion, the head of the “Management and Tourism” program, Doctor of Economics, Professor Tolonbek Abdyrov warmly thanked the participants, guests and organizers of the round table and wished further success. All participants received certificates and prizes.
