Report on the guest lecture “Antitrust regulation of business processes in the Kyrgyz Republic”
for students of BAFE within PhD program.
On Wednesday, January 11 within the thematic guest lectures for PhD students, the program of ”Management and Tourism” has invited Lee Pavel Andreevich, who is the head of control and audit department of the state anti-monopoly agency under the Government of KR. The topic of the guest lecture was “Antitrust regulation of business processes in the Kyrgyz Republic.” In his report Lee P.A. described in detail the activities of the anti-monopoly agency, the work done by the Agency for the development of competition in the country and the alignment of regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic with a road map for joining to the Common Economic Space Community. At the end of the report, there was an interesting discussion in the format of “question-answer” with the audience, the discussion covered such areas as energy, telecommunications market, public procurement, food markets and others. Lee P.A. answered to all the questions, stressed the importance of and the need for qualified personnel with high-quality knowledge in the field of business management in the current economic situation and wished success for students of BAFE.
