On November 17, 2014 passed the festive action devoted to the International Day of Students with assistance of Student’s Government of BAFE. Holiday history: The International Day of students — the day of the international solidarity of students which is noted on November 17. On October 28, 1939 in Czechoslovakia occupied with Nazis the Prague students and their teachers staged a demonstration to celebrate anniversary of formation of the Czechoslovak state. Troops of invaders dispersed demonstration, thus the student of medical faculty Jan Opletal which funeral developed into a protest action was shot. Tens protesters were arrested. On

November 17 Germans surrounded dormitories early in the morning. More than 1200 students were arrested and imprisoned in a concentration camp. Nine students and activists of the student’s movement were executed in prison. Two years later in London there took place the International meeting of the students fighting against Nazism on which it was decided to celebrate annually in honor of the dead this date as Students’ Day. Celebration of Day of Students took place in BAFE on Molodaya Gvardia blvd. Students presented to attention of guests of action the program with the numbers. Rector of the Bishkek academy of finance and economics associated proff. Svetlana Sirmbard congratulated students and wished success in study and interesting student’s life, and also noted that, despite any difficulties which arise at students in the course of study, they have to be aimed at becoming qualified specialists.
