Within the cooperation with the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan, BAFE was invited to take part in the opening ceremony of the Indian Cultural Centre, which was held November 14, 2014 at the National Library. Opening of this center became possible with the support of the Indian Embassy, which provided funds for the repair of the premises, its equipment inventory,   techniques, audio-visual materials and literature. The main purpose of the center is popularization of the culture, art, traditions, history of India, as well as promoting  the study of languages, Hindi and English, providing access to periodicals, books, audio-visual materials in English and Hindi. The center will organize lectures, round tables, meetings, and Days of Indian Culture. The book-illustrative exhibition “India – distant and near” was held during this  event.
